preparation
cooking in the convection oven:
- 1.Thaw the frozen pre-marinated chicken tikka for at least 12 hrs in the refrigerator (or flash thaw for 1 hr in room temperature water). After thawing, mix them well and set aside for 15 minutes.
- 2.Pre-heat the oven at 250˚C
- 3.Spread the marinated chicken pieces over a wire rack or greased tray; keep enough gap among the pieces to ensure effective heat convection. Cook for 20 minutes.
- 4.It is ready when you can see the pieces turn brown in colour.
- 5.Remove from the oven and transfer into a serving plate. Serve with lemon wedges. You can also add diced onion and capsicum to cook along with the tikka as per preference.
cooking in the pan:
- 1.Thaw the frozen pre-marinated chicken tikka for at least 12 hrs in the refrigerator (or flash thaw for 1 hr in room temperature water). After thawing, mix them well and set aside for 15 minutes.
- 2.Heat the nonstick pan on medium flame and smear little oil.
- 3.Lightly place the marinated chicken pieces over the oiled pan. Let it cook for 8 minutes.
- 4.Turn all the pieces and cook the other side for another 6 minutes.
- 5.Remove from the pan and transfer into a serving plate. Serve with lemon wedges. You can also add diced onion and capsicum to cook along with the tikka as per preference.
